OneVote Results

My sister pointed this out to me today. It's a mock election that was held by Channel One, and the results are interesting.

I kind of doubt that the results reflect the "real" election. Teenagers, as a general rule, have a different set of priorities than those of us who've lived a few more years. This doesn't make them ignorant or stupid (as one of my sister's teachers apparently told his class -- only stupid people would vote for Bush, after all); it simply means that, well, their priorities are different. (They're having a "back to school" day next week, where parents can go in place of their kids... it's really too bad that siblings can't go instead. I'd rather enjoy a chance to counter some of his "Bush Voters are Dumb" rhetoric.)

What made this most interesting for me was that these "voters" aren't that far removed from the people that MTV's Rock the Vote is likely to reach, and yet Rock the Vote seems pretty Democrat oriented. Maybe that's just my imagination, though.
