Teachers can promote candidates, just not Bush

Not long ago, I was outraged by the fact that a teacher at my sister's school was apparently preaching in his classroom about how evil Bush was and how anyone's parents who voted for Bush were morons. I never found any evidence supporting the fact that he wasn't allowed to do this, and eventually, I calmed down.

Now, I'm angry again. Because as soon as a teacher puts up a picture of Bush -- not even promoting him in the election, just putting up a picture of the current president -- she's reprimanded. This is absurd. (Though, I have to wonder what her response was to the kid who said Bush killed people. If Bush's orders regarding a justifiable war amount to murder, then what about the people that Kerry killed while in Vietnam?)
